Woodridge High School (WHS)
Woodridge High School is a dynamic public school serving approximately 600 students in grades 9-12. Our dedicated staff is focused on fostering academic success from the moment students step through our doors as freshmen until they graduate. We prioritize enrichment and intervention to ensure WHS graduates are ready to compete globally, with a solid foundation for college and career readiness.
Academics & Career Training
Our aim is to ensure all students are well-prepared for their future endeavors, whether that means further education, entering the workforce, starting a business, or enlisting in the military.
Rigorous Course Offerings WHS continually expands our course offerings to provide relevant educational opportunities, including:
- Honors courses

- College Credit Plus (CCP)
- Dual credit courses in various subjects
Career Technical Education As a proud member of the Six District Educational Compact, WHS offers an array of engineering, technology, college tech prep, and career training programs equipped to help students thrive in a competitive environment. Featured programs include:

College Financial Preparation For those aspiring to attend college, we actively promote the completion of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This support helps families prepare for the financial aspects of a college education, ensuring our students can pursue their academic goals and secure essential financial aid and scholarships.

More than 75% of our students participate in after-school activities, ranging from athletics to a wide variety of co-curricular programs. These activities foster school spirit, community involvement, personal growth, and contribute to a vibrant school atmosphere.
