Top Dogs: Woodridge Staff Spotlight – Featuring Shadia Hasan

This month’s Top Dogs Staff Spotlight recognizes Shadia Hasan, eighth-grade math teacher at Woodridge Middle School, for the humor, kindness, and positivity she brings to our school community.

Shadia has a gift for making people laugh and helping students feel valued and supported. She recognizes that every student is different, takes the time to understand their needs, and finds ways to help them succeed. Her encouragement helps students believe in themselves and what they can accomplish.

As a member of our House Implementation Team, Shadia brings that same enthusiasm to strengthening connections at Woodridge Middle School. This summer, she visited the Ron Clark Academy to learn more about the House System and bring back ideas for our students. A proud member of Ember House, she brings energy, passion, and plenty of spirit to the program!

Shadia’s care for kids shines through in the relationships she builds every day. Her humor and unwavering belief in students make Woodridge Middle School a more welcoming, encouraging place to learn.
