District Launches New Website

Woodridge Announces New Website and Domain Name

Woodridge Local School District is excited to announce the launch of a new website platform for the district and our three school websites for the 2026-27 school year.

A school district website is often the first place families, students, staff, and community members turn for information. Whether enrolling a student, checking school calendars, finding transportation information, accessing resources, learning about programs and services, or staying informed about district news and events, our web pages serve as a vital connection between our schools and the community we serve.

The launch of our new website platform represents an important investment in strengthening communication and engagement with our community. By providing a more consistent and reliable digital experience across all district and school websites, we can better support students, families, staff, and community members as they access information and connect with our schools.

With the new website upgrade, the district is also migrating to a shorter domain name woodridge.us.  Visiting the previous domain name woodridge.k12.oh.us automatically redirects to the new website and shorter domain name.  District staff email addresses will continue to utilize the longer domain name until next summer, when they too will be shortened to the @woodridge.us format.

The text WOODRIDGE.US is displayed in dark red, bold, sans-serif font.

Benefits of the new website platform include:

  • Easier navigation and improved organization of information
  • Enhanced accessibility features to better serve all users
  • Mobile-friendly design for convenient access from smartphones and tablets
  • Improved search functionality
  • Consistent branding and user experience across all district and school websites
  • Greater flexibility for schools and departments to share timely news, events, and important updates
  • Full integration with the district’s communication tool, ParentSquare

Notable Changes

Looking for specific information or links on our new website? We’ve got you covered! Here, we’ve highlighted some key differences between the old site and the new one to help you navigate with ease.

Can’t find what you need? Try using the search feature (look for the magnifying glass icon) to quickly locate what you’re looking for by entering keywords.

  • On our old website, several quick links were located at the top of the page for easy access. These links are now conveniently located under the Popular Links dropdown in the header. Simply click Popular Links to find them!

  • Use the Google Translate icon in the header, located next to the search feature, to translate the website into your preferred language. Simply hover over the icon to reveal a dropdown menu of language options.

Research shows that an icon is more universally recognized by non-English-speaking users than the English word "translate." Additionally, most non-English speakers already have their internet browsers set to their preferred language, making our website translator a helpful secondary tool for added convenience.

  • The website header features a list of core district, department and building resources via dropdown menus, giving you quick and easy access to all individual school websites. When visiting a school website, simply click the Home link to return to the district homepage.
